Stop by Wal-mart, buy some soap and deodorant, shampoo, etc. call him aside talk with him about the issue one-on-one. Present him with the care package, and tell him he must be presentable each day when he shows up...we have a rather delicate problem with a young crew member of ours. my wife has told me to treat it as an internal matter because he's young and might be offended if I'm upfront about it. I agreed with her and decided to try the 'gentle' and 'understanding' approach. But first i thought i'd ask all you chaps for your opinions and to see how you'd handle it. the problem is this:
Our apprentice - Roland - smells like a polecat.
How bad is it? open the doors beneath your sink then plunge your head into the waste disposal unit, then double it.
anyone else had these problems? how do you think it should be dealt with?

Roland from Poland? :whistling2:No offense to anyone, but is he Polish? It's pretty common.
No, no, no....it's the Polish Racing Stripes you are thinking ofNo offense to anyone, but is he Polish? It's pretty common.
But really, I can see the buying some soap and all being a little more insulting than simply saying (with a smile) "hey Roland...listen...we like you, but could you scrub up a bit before work, you're a bit whiffy there pal"...how do you think it should be dealt with?
