They have changed the formula, near the end of 2019 iirc. I haven't heard anything about touch ups from my customers. The newer formula does have different sheens than the previous formula, so you can't use the two formulas to touch up each other. Perhaps that is what your friend means? If not, that's the first I've heard of it and I'll ask my painters about it.I thought about using MH again (its been a few years) but a friend of mine told me they changed the formula and now it does not touch up very well (on walls). He said Pure Performance is better. Can anybody verify this? Id like more opinions if available.
PPG is phasing Manor Hall out of Home Depot and corporate-owned PPG stores and replacing it with Prominence. Manor Hall is now only available at independent dealers. I suspect Manor Hall and Prominence are the same formulation, or very slightly tweaked, but we're not allowed to order Prominence, so I haven't been able to compare them side-by-side.BTW PPG changed the name from Manor Hall to Prominence.
