Has anyone ever used Presto Patch from Lowes on an exterior project? I bought a gallon to use on some cedar siding patches but, the consistency is really similar to Drywall Compound. I put a little on to see how it filled and spread nice but, it's still really soft and powdery after drying for a couple hours. I was planning prime over with Zinser oil primer to hopefully harden it. Any thoughts?

The only presto patch I have ever used is for indoor patching I believe. It was basically 5 minute drywall mud that dried super hard.
