problem with satin/semi on long walls...

I have noticed that when we do long straight walls, when you use satin or semi gloss that when you look down the wall standing close to the wall, you can see (we're rolling out the walls) different sheens showing? Why is this? is there a way to prevent this? Thanks guys :)

its repaints in offices...buildings where they have individual offices around the edges of the floor and a big area of cubicles in the center, with long walls in that area. The old walls were painted with satin/eggshell. We are using Purdy Collosus covers with Superpaint. I think your right though Timhag, I wish there was someone around to teach me.
