We are the contractor. We need to pull 2-3 professional painters on board.

Please have a look at the two job descriptions pasted below and let me know what you think (Professional Painter x 3). As it is somewhat specialized I’m always very grateful for referrals. Thanks a ton for any and all efforts. I do not believe rate will be an issue.

The objective of this project is for the contractor to provide services to
successfully provide medical facilities support assistance for the period of 1 September 2014
through 31 August 2015 at Navy Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD), CA.

Location: San Diego California, Navy Medical Center (NMCSD)
Salary/Rate: Open
Per diem: If applicable

Painter will have three (3) years’ experience in healthcare facilities.

2.3.1 Facility Support I. The contractor shall provide personnel, equipment, tools, materials,
supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform assigned on-site facility and
maintenance support tasks and functions with particular and primary emphasis on painting
maintenance for medical facilities as defined in this scope of work (SOW) at Naval Medical
Center, San Diego, CA. Work will be performed and documentation shall be maintained to the
standards set forth in this contract, the NFPA, The Joint Commission (TJC), and all other
applicable codes and regulations to ensure full TJC compliance. NMCSD is a large Active
Medical Facility where key concerns include safety, equipment operability, quality control and
maintaining Joint Commission compliance. At a minimum, painter will have three (3) years
experience in healthcare facilities. The contractor will be knowledgeable of and comply with all
applicable Federal, State, and local laws, Navy and Marine Corps regulations, and requirements
regarding environmental protection. The contractor will ensure policies and procedures are
established that protect the health and safety of employees and the community and
minimize/eliminate the risk of environmental pollution. The contractor will comply with the
installation’s Hazardous Waste Management Plan. All hazardous waste and environmental
compliance issues shall be coordinated with the NMCSD Environmental Division. The
contrractor shall interface with key staff throughout NMCSD and have excellent rapport with
these staff, especially the permanent Facilities Division staff, in order to perform required daily
tasks. In environments that require infection control (IC) assessments, plans and control
procedures put in place prior to and during painting operations, the contractor shall prepare and
execute all infection control measures, to include providing the necessary IC materials.
