Is there actual proof that can be posted as to the FACT that HD,Lowes etc are selling cheaper versions of Purdy,Wooster,etc brushes?I am having an argument with another painter who states that he called SW and they told him that all the brushes were made the same and the big boxes just sell them cheaper. I do not believe this but could find no actual written documentation on the subject and was hoping that one of you smarter people( yes, I will grant that there may be more than one)
