I am considering using a Quikrete Epoxy on the garage floor I am working on because the customer has a wild imagination and likes the color choices they provide (theres about 40 different base colors available). Anyone used it? Any luck?

I am also thinking about using H&C Clear Glaze over the Quikrete Epoxy just in case. I figure the H&C Glaze should hold up well. Does it? I shouldn't have any issues mixing the two products should I?

You think so? I am reading labels and the glaze is just a top coat meant to go over the H&C epoxy. Looks like H&C and Quikrete Epoxies are about identical in the ingredient departments so I can't think of why the clear glaze wouldn't hold up as well on the quikrete as it would on H&C.

There is No reason to mix the two products. the quikrete epoxy is made to hold up in a garage. So is the H&C. I'm not sure if it voids a warranty (which would be interesting to know). If you want to go with a shiny color than use the H&C stain and apply a few coats and then apply the clear coat. Of course that probably won't give you a solid color. Either product should do just fine, but I have heard (not seen) that the H&C is excellent.

Just buy the Rust-Oleum Epoxy Shield. It's better!
