the franchise painting model does not impress me.

No disrespect to Fresh, he knows what I feel and I think he has given some credence that the Fresh Coat model has a different approach.

I am always ready to listen and learn, but to be brutally honest, I have a huge prejudice against all the "Pro" type franchises. Be it Student, College, or Certa.

I do, however, welcome this guy and look forward to exchanging truths to improve the profession. I hope he doesn't leave too soon, but I thought it only fair to express my feelings that have been formed by many years of seeing the local certa pro owners wreck havoc.

Oh, I thought the op said he was a certa franchise, which if memory serves is the one that BM is forming some sort of relationship with. I would like to hear what the gentleman has to contribute. Remember, this is just his introduction thread, and lord knows we are always asking people to do proper introductions, which he did.

He could of been just looking to get his name out and build some SEO, or he could of just not gotten back to PT yet, and will in fact turn out to be a contributing member.
I hope it is the latter as I always like to learn what i can about franchises.

I know you guys think you smell blood but take it easy. I would hate to see him come back to his thread and have it be all murky with this or that and be turned off from contributing to PT.

Hey, sorry, somethings I just do not sweep under that mat.

But that said, the franchises are what the local owner makes them. I did know a College Pro owner who actually did his best to deliver a decent job.
