I have a friend who is a stay at home dad, and is interested in selling paint jobs for me. He would be generating leads, but I still have to estimate and close. I am trying to come up with a commission percentage that would be fair for both parties. I am still working in my business, and at times find it difficult to gererate work while working. I am not depending on this person to get us work, but the new leads would be appreciated. Thanks

percentage of the job, 5-10% I typically give to designers for a job I get because of them.
But if he is selling them wich to means going out doing the measure and counting and actually getting the sighn contract, you should go higher, sounds like you would have to train him to do that
