In the same boat as you. Have done a ton of estimates, but seems like most are dragging thier feet. Asked the guys at a couple of the paint stores we deal with and they tell me most companies are going through the same thing in this area.

Spoke with several (real contractors ) today and leads are a plenty but people are shopping .............for sure

Old customers our the best customers..........its the new ones that are tough to get..........

Consumers are hurting , gas prices, grocerys are nuts.......

The more the phone rings the better we have to land the work.....

Our leads are up about 10% over last year. Sales are pretty even with last year, but we have some big projects in the works, which we didn't have this time last year. I've got several large projects I've been working on for months that seem to be finally reaching a decision point.

Our first quarter looks like it will beat last year by a little, but the second quarter is looking like it will smoke last year. (Of course, I'm an eternal optimist too.)
