Is there any reason not to use a shellac primer over an oil primer if you have extra of one but not the other and need to finish a job?

For instance, Bin on top of SW Extreme Block (oil), or vice versa?

Interior or exterior? What is your purpose for double priming?

I would try to avoid that if possible, but I doubt it would actually hurt anything.

never had an issue. I had a oak cabinet job, and i applied shellac, but I still got red tannin/dye migration. went over it with kills. The client hasn't called back, and he was extremely detailed, and they both had OCD. that's just my experience.
