Have noticed a new series of SW commercials that are geared to the DYI market. At first thought I would be seeing the HD or Lowes logo come up at any moment.

Are these commercials showing in your area of the country?:blink:

I've not seen any recently, but it may be the stations I watch. They have had commercials on the radio locally for years, often just before holidays. They usually have some sale for the DIYers on long holiday weekends.

I wouldn't worry about it, if someone is going to paint their house themselves then they have already decided that, so SW may as well capitalize and sell them some product.

I mean any monkey can paint, right?:thumbup:

These were on TLC and Discovery Channel. It will be interesting to see if they keep them on after the Memorial Day weekend. I agree they have the right and most likely a good business choice to go after the DIY...

Kinda wondering if they may be planning on doing it more...

I haven't noticed any, but i don't really watch TV. I think they need more commercials though. HD really advertises their paints making it difficult to talk some customers into using SW paints because they have Behr pounded in their heads.
