The Amityville Horror VI; The Leaching

Did a small bath "wallcovering" removal and paint this winter

I use the quotes around "wallcovering", because I believe it actually was contact or shelf paper
I'm not kidding

It was held up there with a variety of unsubs, and in some spots, a substance which could have only been caulk
I'm not kidding

When even a lung-searing DIF potion wouldn't remove large portions of the adhesive, I Gardzed it to seal it in, did my mud repairs, then primed the whole thing with Fresh Start water based, and painted two coats of Regal (eggshell)

Well, something is oozing onto the chair rail
It's freaky
Some of it looks to have a little of the tint from the former paint job (snot green btw), and some of it has picked up pigment from the new stuff

My Theory:

I think some of the unsub adhesive is leaching through the Gardz, mud, Fresh Start, and two coats of paint, picking up some pigment chunks along the way, dripping down the walls and resting on the chair rails
I say chunks, it's not a solid colored goo it's leaving...it's like sand or dirt sized bits of color mixed in with the goo...weird

I'm not sure if I should BIN the whole thing and repaint, or call a Priest to perform an exorcism

Any body run into this?
Or have any ideas or feedback on my theory/plan(s)?
Thanks in advance for any/all input on this

Yeah...I'd Bin it. Sounds like maybe it's leaching through a layer on top of the Guardz (somehow). If that doesn't work, the priest is a close second. Sounds like a fun job...wish I could be there, lol

keep in mind, any moisture what-so-ever could have caused a reaction to all the mud, old paint, etc. So that might be 'why' it's happening

That didn't occur to me
It's got a window and a fan
But it was used in between mud and paint
...wish I could be there...
Funny...it's in CT
I almost asked if I could refer them (the original job) to you
But then I saw it was teeny, and I could work it around gigs...and winter is so slow around here... so I did it...
Thanks John

I'm here if ever you need to refer me. Lol...I totally missed the "bath" part, but ironically that would be a huge factor.
Is it a deep red color? Do you hear screams in the room? will a crucifix make it go away?
