Has anyone used thebluebook.com before? How are the leads from this website?

There was a lead that ask for me to place a bid. It says that it is a LEED Project. Not sure what that means. Tried searching but failed to find the meaning.

Yes, they are. Got two company so far that wanted proposals from us. Just curious if anyone else had experience getting projects through this site.

Ive' had access to it for a few months, didn't pay for a listing. I have a few G C's who ask for bids but I haven't gotten any work yet. Spent some money and time on prints and take offs, so far I think they're just cold calls to check their regular subs pricing but you never know

DON'T USE THE BLUE BOOK!!!

We NEVER got what we were promised. We complained after the book was published the first year. We were PROMISED that we would get 4 ads instead of 2. THEN, the second year, they were supposed to check with us to update the ads but didn't! They published the ads the second year STILL with the wrong address!!!

So, we called and complained and told them we were not going to pay the full bill. The rep FINALLY came out and promised us that if we went ahead and paid the bill that he would make SURE we got taken care of.

I decided to go ahead and pay it since it was only $1100 and if they didn't keep their word AGAIN that we'd be done with them!

We never heard from them again!

The Blue Book of Building and Contstruction has been a COMPLETE waste of money for us!
