Well, aren't you lucky

Unfortunately, there may be some who don't actually read or understand the Home Depot Hosing Agreement, and may actually sign up for it

Fortunately, they will most likely soon regret it

I find it ironic that they are searching for 'experienced' and 'qualified' contractors on CL.
I find it humorous that they think any experienced and qualified painting contractors would sign their contractor's agreement

We like them experienced and qualified, but not too bright

It seems that advertising, marketing and sales are the weak areas of most small paint companies. If they generally rely on word of mouth for their marketing, and the word of mouth is drying out right now, they may see that as a way to get what they want: to just be working.

I agree, Slick, essentially HD is appealing to the weakness and vulnerability of paint companies. Translation: setting them up for a good hosing.

I think you hit the nail on the head here Scott.
