Do you wash your roller covers?

clean 5 gal set up, cover ,cage ,brush, before i leave job . if i can get a little space near the laundry tub ill just give a quick clean and throw them in a bucket of warter .next day a quick rinse and spin and their perfect

Depends on how much they've been used. If just used for an accent wall or a small room I wash and use them once more. If they've been used for a large portion of a job, they get tossed. Never clean ones that were used for oil.
It's not so much a cost issue as trying to cut down on waste.

Yep, your right, life is too short to drop everything you're doing and make that extra trip to the paint store when you realize that you do not have a roller cover.
Or you could just make sure you have the needed sundries before you go to the job!:)
