I am getting ready to do a repaint where some of the masonite is wavy. The siding is in good condition otherwise. What causes this? If I remove it and replace it with hardy will it solve the problem.
Thanks
If I remember right their was a major law suite on this type of product. Be very careful on what you write in your contract. Mosture is it most likely it problem.
I have run into this before. It's swelling up do to moisture. If you paint it use matte or flat. Of course hardi plank would be better if the budget allows. Usually I just tell the homeowner before I start and give them the heads up. Good Luck. MOPAINT
