I remember that there was a discussion at one time about a fellow who wrote a book on being out of the bucket. I remember it as having profit in the title?

What book, or books would folks here reccomend on building and running a profitable business?

"The E Myth"-by Michael Gerber
"Small Business for Dummies"-by Eric Tyson
"Where did the money go"-Ellen Rohr

Haven't read them all yet, but these are some that have been thrown around in the forums

This is a short read... entertaining... enlightening... There are MANY fortune 500 companies that require new employees to read it...

Who Moved My Cheese? By Spenced Johnson M.D. . In our area the cheese left so therefore we had to follow it just to make ends meet, keep the guys busy, and make a profit. It's a great book pretty simple and to the point.

Another great book is Brian Tracey The Closers part 1 and 2 by Ben Gay the III,

Advanced Selling Stratigies By Brian Tracey,

Attitudes that Attract Success By Wayne Cordeiro,

Power Direct Marketing By Ray Jutkins.

Who Moved My Cheese? By Spenced Johnson M.D. . In our area the cheese left so therefore we had to follow it just to make ends meet, keep the guys busy, and make a profit. It's a great book pretty simple and to the point.

So I looked up some of the names on this post and also one on contractor talk and found the Yesa Masters. My Senseis :ninja:


Jeffrey Gitmor, Spencer Johnson, Nicolas Boothman, Scott Mckain and Bill Brooks Got my Full ATTENTION.
As I watched their videos in youtube they reminded of some people in here.

Picked up The E Myth Contractor today to satisfy my curiosity about all the hype surrounding it. I'll let you guys know what my thoughts are when finished.
