What kind of material would you recommend for the front doors to a retail store? The doors are metal (dark bronzetone currently, original factory finish). The finish appears to be some kind of acrylic finish since goof off softens the finish. The owner would like the doors to be painted black. I was thinking BM Metal and Wood black acrylic finish, but wonder if the oil M&W would be better. Black tends to show a lot of smudges, especially on front doors and the oil would clean up better. Are there any satin sheen industrial products (the ones I am aware of are high gloss which would not fit the decor very well)?

Dean, I painted our Dry Cleaners doors ( same as you are describing) 5 years ago using 123 with a top coat and that baby is still looking new.

i would use rustoleum problablably and whizz it on with a pink no fuzz thin wizz so it has that factory finish look

you could mask it and spray it with Krylon it has super adhesion and factory like finish. Or hot dog it with satin black oil base with a little penetrol for leveling.
