Going to spray some ProClassic oil (kitchen cabinets) with airless+FFT in my garage. Garage also has a gas water heater in it. There will be no ventilation at all. Do I really need to extinguish the hot water heater prior to spraying or am I worrying about nothing?

Thanks!

You need ventilation and yes if your using a combustible product you need to extinguish sources of ignition. Just because you are using a FFT doesn't mean you won't have paint floating in the air without ventilation. This floating paint will land on the materials that are already painted as you paint causing them to dry with a haze and possibly gritty feeling finish.
