Got the flu. The routine the last several days has been, drag tired butt out of bed, work and plop back into bed. How many of you work when sick or hurt? People will see your answers on the poll.

I won't meet with customers if I'm really ill. I don't think it's wise or polite. But I'll go to the office or work at home. Most of what I do is either meeting with customers or on the computer, so even if I'm not feeling well I can usually still accomplish something.

When I was in the field a sick day meant I only worked 8 hours.

Its there, my answer is, Couldn't get out of bed due to flu symptoms. What multi choice would that go under?
I am stymied! You are right. Don't know how to edit the poll, but that could be a good one. "Who cares, it's all I can do to hug the porcelain convenience!"

I felt like that today, but sat on a five gallon bucket sanding shelves and doors, while others worked. That lasted till 2:30.

Dude my whole body was in pain, it even hurt while taking a shower. I'm talking about the water beating down on my body......man, I wouldn't wish that on my worse enemy.

If the job is a new construction site, I might push it, but for repaint work if it much more than a cold, I would try not to work in a repaint customer's home. Does not seem professional or courteous.

I hate to miss work. I usually suck it up & go in. Atleast try for a half day. Then if I need a day off for something in the future I don't feel bad taking it.

a cold or sore muscle means I was working a full day
