YYY Sanding Sponge????

3457 Views 11 Replies 11 Participants Last post by  HomeGuardPaints
Last year I was given a sample of this blue colored sanding sponge. It actually worked really great and I liked it much better than the XXX Brand one I normally use but when I went back later to buy it the person at the store had no idea what I was talking about. Does anyone know where I can find these YYY sanding sponges?

I think the YYY sponge you're talking about is from this company.

I'm not sure what store you got them at but these are YYY and I got them as a sampel at a Large Manufacturer Owned Retail Store Chain so they might be the ones your looking for
I have not seen or tried the blue ones. I buy the grey ones in bulk, usually 250 at a time.

They will send free samples!
Yeah i signed up for free samples.
This is interesting, in a funny kind of way.... that 3 people sign up to this forum and their first post is in this topic... These sponges must be popular... Now that I think about it and the mention that SW gave some out... I think I have a sample set in my garage... huh... maybe I aught to take them to my next job... Thanks.

Why would someone do something this moronic?

This would be an example of guerrilla marketing in it's lowest form.

I would also bet my paycheck that Paint Prep Pal is in cahoots too.
very clever, but Painttalk.com mods have thwarted your devious scheme.
