Anyone have any experience with this?

AMICO “ZIP STRIP” Ceiling “L” Trim
has a removable masking strip that allows this bead to be finished without staining the adjacent ceiling. Perforations and ridges placed on all surfaces that receive finishing compound or veneer plaster assures excellent adhesion

Yep, have used ton's of it over the years, mostly on commercial jobs where the grid ceiling was already in place. A few times where we were butting drywall up to finished wood beams. Haven't had cause to use it for a couple of years, but when I used to use it frequently it worked pretty good most of the time. We usually spray glued it, and tacked it on with pneumatic staples. Sometimes mesh between the bead and the drywall too.
