I wouldn't waste the $20 on that good stuff. I hear there is even stuff that costs $50 per gallon.

How many gallons would I need to do a room 11' X 26'?

An a room 11' X 27'?

An a area 7' X 12'?

Do you feel 5 gallons of BEHR is a premium primer and would I have enough or to much?

I was reading that there are allot of PRO's on here that will help you in helping you in the right direction, with the best brand and use-age.

I hope this is true and that there are no smart ----- on here. Everyone needs help now and than.

Do you agree with me on adding the color to the primer so you will have better coverage of the paint you are going to use.

Ok, I closed this, then looked at his other posts, seems to me you are a DIYer, who would best be served in the DIY forum. On the off chance you are a professional painter, I opened this up. You never answered there, so you can tell us about yourself now.

I was thinking that I was on the right site.

Yes I have been on DIY last week and I did have some smart ---- answering me and did not feel that I was welcome there.

I thought I would try it once again and if it happens again I will know that I am not welcome there.

Do you feel that it would be easier to handle a gallon instead of a 5 gallon pail?

It may cost a little more, but one can handle it better.

Do you agree that one should put the same color in the primer as you are going to paint the wall?

Is there any PRO and CON's by doing this?

nhoj this site is for professionals to talk shop.

The thread is running on the DIY section you have gotten answers before on this basement project both here and there I am sorry but you need to follow the basic rules and stick with the diy forum.

I wish your project success and with as long as you have been thinking of it I say just pick a brand and get to work.
