Best spam filter for cell phones?

I get anywhere from 10-20 spam calls/day. I'm on the "National Do Not Call Register", but it clearly isn't working. Wondering if any of you have had success using a particular service. 5 years ago, 95% of my calls were legit inquiries from potential customers needing work done. Now, 95% of my calls are spam. I'm tired of having to stop what I'm doing to clean up my hands so I can answer the phone in time, only to find out it's another douche offering to get me on the 1st page of Google.

After every spam call, I block their #, but they're like cockroaches. I don't really like the option of not answering and relying on legit callers to leave a voicemail, since research shows that people who are looking for service providers will often just hang up and call the next painter.

What's worked for you?
What hasn't?

Most of the new phones are well equipped with security features. However these spammers are getting good at proving a local area code for an international call. AI has upped it's game. I hardly answer the phone anymore. Thankfully most people just email or text me for communication..

We get much the same. I suspect that they are getting our phone number off of an online directory or your website. The only solution that I have seen that seems like it would work is to pay for one of those phone services that requires the caller to "press 1 to be connected with our estimator" or something like that.
