Hey Everyone,

I am From Greece and my english is not Much good i write this with google translater so...

So, here I am, more used to dealing with shingles and gutters, but now I've got a paint problem that's got me puzzled. On my latest roofing gig, I noticed the paint peeling off the eaves and, honestly, I'm not sure what to do about it.

The roof itself? Perfect. But those eaves are letting the side down. Why's the paint coming off, and how do I stop it? I'm wondering if there's a magic primer or paint type that's best for eaves, especially with the crazy weather we get.

Yes - pictures are needed. Also, a description of the type of exposure the house gets would be helpful.

 

Moisture can cause peeling, so check for that and maybe improve air flow around the eaves to keep them dry. Use a good exterior primer before painting; it helps the paint stick and last longer. Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore are two brands I'd highly recommend.

is this a metal roof you painted? Without any more details it sounds like they painted the wood eaves with the same coating they used for a metal roof ??

need a lot more details and yes a pic would be very helpful
